If you are behind on rent, you have 30 days to pay what you owe or file an application for UniteCT. Make sure you respond to your eviction summon and include your UniteCT receipt number.

You can still apply for a UniteCT application even if your eviction started before the state eviction moratorium expired on June 30, 2021.

If you qualify, you can be protected until February 15, 2022 when the law expires.
