Since September 4, 2020, we created a free tool for renters to prepare a CDC Declaration as required by the CDC to prevent an eviction under certain conditions and non-payment of rent. However, the US Supreme Court ended the CDC eviction moratorium on August 26, 2021and the CDC Declaration no longer protects renters from eviction.

Check with your county or city if your state does not have eviction protections. There may be local protections in your area.
